A beautiful vintage Japanese Satsuma-style tripod incense burner (Koro). This piece is richly decorated with traditional moriage (raised enamel) techniques, featuring hand-painted scenes of a Geisha and delicate floral motifs in vibrant oranges, greens, and gold gilding.
The lid is topped with a classic Shishi (Foo Dog) finial, and the vessel sits on three elegant tripod feet. The base is marked “Hand painted Made in Japan.”
